    Love,Sean’s Aunt Lu

  4. Matt

Glad you had good time please keep us posted and enjoy Berlin!

  5. Sounds like everyone is having a great time so far. Hope Harrison has money by now. I know it must be my fault even though he’s had months to put some money in his own account. He just wants me to miss him more than I already do…right? Jackie misses you too. She keeps sniffing around your room for you. Hmmmmm?

  6. I’m glad you are all excited and enjoying yourself.
We are looking forward to seeing some pictures!
    Looking forward to hearing more,
    Julia

  7. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMESON! It will be one that you will always remember! We love you! Mom & Dad

  8. Happy Birthday Jameson!!! I bet this is one you’ll never forget. I’m so happy for you and the Arch group. Harrison and Sean…did you see Serena William’s pink workout outfit? It looks just like your weird outfits minus the hoods. Maybe she saw yours and liked them. It was on AOL yesterday.
I hope your debit card is working, Harrison. Now you can buy me something. Have fun!!!

  9. Well…well…three days in Europe and no one in the EU has broken off diplomatic ties with U.S…..good going Arch! Sounds like you’re all having a rocking time. Btw Zak…in case you were wondering Ohio State still sucks. ;-) Harrsion, we miss you, particularly today (Garbage day) I didn’t have to remind anyone to take out the trash..so I forgot to. Guess we need you after all. Keep up us posted on your exploits and we eagerly await the European debut of the Morph suits.

    Dad.

  10. I love the pictures! Everyone looks like they are really cold, but still having fun. Wish I were there too. Jameson, just let me know if you want to buy me anything and I’ll put more money on your card! Love, Mom

Jake, you should know how much Sam is missing you. This morning when I woke up and walked down to the living room I found concrete proof of how much he misses you. Yup, three pools of pee and FOUR piles of poop! Smelledt like I woke up in a f’n BARN. Ack!

  12. Hi Joe, glad to hear everyone is having such an interesting & fun packed trip! The pictures were great to see, you look really cold! You should pick up a jacket (to wear now) as a souvenir of your travels. If David gets his card to work, DON’T touch the other $ in there. O.K.? Have lots of fun, & enjoy all the sights, people, & food. Miss you, love Mom

  13. Thanks for the pictures, they are great. I hope time on the the bus doesn’t take up as much of your time tomorrow. Just say “no” to puking on the bus. Dugan says hi to Casey!

  14. Happy to see all the nice pictures, thank you for posting them.

Looks like all of u are having a great time. Love u all

    Eman & Bassem

  15. Hi Joe, glad to hear your all getting along so well with the other school! Not! No sense of humor, to bad for them. Enjoy all the history, churches, castles, & food. Some better than others I’m sure, BUT what an adventure! Miss you, love Mom

  16. Glad you had a fun day Off the bus! Can’t wait to see some of the morph suit pictures. Why didn’t Harrison wear his? We miss you Casey. Love you, Mom and Dad

  17. Hi Harrison and everyone. We met Uncle Alan in OB today. We had lunch and walked around. He looks good. Then we went to Marc and Vicky’s for dinner. Marc made lobster bisque. Yum! Chas wasn’t there but Chris was. He looks just like Chas. Poor Jackie was alone most of the day. I’m so glad you’re enjoying your trip. Traveling is so great! I miss you though, believe it or not. Should I say hurry home?

  18. Hi David:
Glad to hear you are having fun! Did the Prague Castle and Church look familiar? We visited there when you were 3.5 years old. You loved all the weapons…swords, suits of armour, etc. Cocoa runs around the house every morning looking for you. Simba has taken over the crate from Cocoa! Have fun.
We all miss you. Love, Mom

  19. Christine Israel

Well, Jake, it’s official. Even though I took off work last Friday and spent all weekend with your dog, taking him to let him loose in the “flats” and on long walks morning and evening. And Even though Maddy slept with him in your room so he wouldn’t be lonely. Today his missing you must have hit. He managed to find EVERY loose sock that belongs to you and drag them upstairs one by one just to carry them around, drop them, then pick them up and carry them around some more. In all honesty, I can’t say he’s the only one who misses you. Maddy and I do too, but we are not about to carry your dirty socks around in our mouths so we’ll just have to reach out across this blog to tell you that you are loved and missed by all. :)

  20. This message is for Casey.
You had $100 US (in Euros) when you left.
You have taken over $325 US out of your account.
That leaves you with $75 left for the rest of the trip (lunches, etc) because it was supposed to cost about $500 US spending money for the entire trip.
I’m not sure what you are doing with the money but you better slow down because you have an entire week left. Love, Mom and Dad

  21. I guess the other school learned that you NEVER mess with Momma Bear’s cubs! Keep having lots of fun and adventures!

  22. Hi Sean,
You know how well I follow directions… I have one post in the comment section under Prague & Kafka, and another under the student blogs. I’ll start following the rules now. You all continue to do the same. I don’t want to hear about the Samurai having to pull out her sword!.

  23. Lily-
Hi – just wanted to wish you a fabulous time –
what an experience – cherish your time and experience the momnet!!
    Love Aunt Diny

  24. Hey Sean!
Austria and Switzerland?!?! I am SO jealous. I hear they are really beautiful. It sounds like a killer trip from this end of the blogs. I’ve enjoyed the stories of school rivalry and general mayhem taking place. I hope by the end of the trip you’ll all be coexisting peacefully with the other group. Maybe you can settle it with a rap battle or something…
I swear, they should make a reality travel show of the Arch kids in other countries. I would TOTALLY watch it. Everyone would! The writing has been great. I hope you start feeling better soon. However, I know from experience that you won’t let it ruin your travels. Take it easy when you can. I’m glad you can appreciate the architecture over there.

  25. This trip sounds amazing! Someone take a video of all of you singing The Sound of Music. Next year I want to go. I’ll be good. I promise. Take lots of pictures. I’m so proud of you, Harrison. Your blogs are great. Tonight is the first night of Passover but without you I’m not cooking. Burritos it is. Maybe that’s what the Mexican Jews do. Happy Passover.

  26. Hi Joe, glad to hear you all got some delicious food to eat. The pictures are really nice to look at. Have you taken any? Enjoy this week, it should be lots of fun! Love, Mom

  27. Hey Lily! Sounds like a pretty good day today! We got home at midnight last night after a long trip home and all was well here. It was beautiful weather on the weekend, I guess, but we missed that and now it’s back to gray and damp! Hope your bus ride through Switzerland goes aok. Bet you can’t wait to lose that other school (and they probably are thinking the same thing). Love, Mom

  28. Hey Jameson,

This sounds like such and awesome trip, I’m seriously jealous. I would have loved to see the Olympic Stadium not to mention the BMW factory. I bet Switzerland is going to be really cool (I’ve always wanted to go there and to Germany). Is your camera broken? Can you post some pictures? Somehow you managed to stay out of most of the shots, I know how you love to have your picture taken…SMILE! Have fun and write more, this a pretty cool way to sort of experience it without being there. Miss ya buddy!

    Love, Dad

  29. Casey,
You never mentioned anything about our money comment… just to let you know, we put more money into the account. Just want to make sure you are thinking about what you are doing. We are so glad you are having such a great time. Love you lots, Mom and Dad

  30. Hi All:
Wow! What an adventure! I can’t wait to hear the stories. Be nice to the other group..obviously they are not seasoned travelers like Arch Academy students and staff. David, we miss you! Love, Mom, Dad and Marc

  31. Hi Jameson! I hope you are really enjoying yourself and taking it all in. Please take pictures so you have memories of everything you are seeing. In case you are wondering, I’m watching and taking care of your account so you don’t run out of money – have fun but don’t go crazy! Justin made it back from El Salvador and he’s back in school this week. Rebecca and Adam are home and we all can’t wait to hear about your fabulous trip! Love, Mom

  32. Greetings from San Diego,

David – if you can, try to see the Eiger – here’s 3 reasons – it’s an amazing sight, it’s close to Luzern, and it’s in one of my favorite Clint Eastwood movies – the Eiger Sanction. If this is not possible, try to take a mountain train (up any nearby mountain), the views are incredible and the ride scares the hell out of you! Keep having a great time – we miss you.
    Love, Westbaworgs

  33. Dale & Dyana Stark

    Sean,

Sorry to hear that you have been ill for a few days, but I’m glad to see that you are still enjoying the trip, and are starting to feel better. I wish we could be there will you to experience some if not most of the beautiful sights and sounds you have been enjoying. Hope the next few days are equally as good if not better than what you had so far.

    Take Care,

    Dale & Dyana

  34. Harrison – you are such a beautiful writer! Awesome job on the blogging – love your style and wit!

  35. Hi Matt,
Hope everything is going well, I did not see your posting for day 7.
Mark is back to school today., he bought another headset from China for a cheap price but it did not work and Zoe ate the cable again.
    Keep us posted.

    Mom

  36. Hi Sean! I’m so glad you’re having such a great time. I can’t wait to hear all about it when you get home. Hope you’re feeling better!

  37. Jameson, we miss you a lot but are very glad you’ve had this experience with your teachers and classmates. It sounds like some really great memories are being created. Speaking of memories it would be nice if you used the camera to document your journey and maybe post one here and there if you can. We are really interested in seeing what you have experienced (except for the thumping episodes). Enjoy Switzerland!

    Dana

  38. Hey Sean, Wow What an amazing journey you are on!!! You are one blessed individual!! Cant wait to hear all about your journey in person. When are you back? xoxox

  39. Hi Sean,
I too, am so jealous that you were able to go on this tour. Truly a tour of a lifetime. Ever since I was a little girl, after my parents made me go see The Sound of Music w/them, I’ve wanted to visit Austria & Switzerland. I’m happy to hear it’s as beautiful as I remember. I recently saw some pictures of the Swarovski Crystal Museum, and it was unbelievably beautiful! I can’t imagine what it would look like in person. I hope you took some video. Did you think to pick me up a small piece to add to my collection? :) Enjoy, the rest of your trip. Take lots of pic’s & video! XOXO Love you, Mom

  40. Hi Sean! I have been really enjoying living through you! I want to join you.Like Dana said you are truly blessed! What a great experience! Enjoy! Love you,Aunt Lu

  41. Harrison, got your message. Need more money? C’est la vie! I’ll put more in your account today. Get a job! My nagging is heard around the world. Did it echo in the alps?

  42. Hi Lily. Your card account now has $121 dollars in it (total). No more gifts! You have already spent $500, so please try to budget! Nice to hear from you, even if it was just to tell me to add money to your card….. Mom

  43. Julia O'Riordan

    Casey,
Sounds like you need to visit a laundry mat, yes? Have fun in Paris and rememeber to look for the barking man. If you sing to him, he may remember you. Love you,
    Mom and Dad

  44. christine israel

since the topic now seems to be money…Jake, I noticed your account was down to $1.21!! I transferred $100, not much. Please try to budget. You are a wise spender so I won’t criticize your spending (especially after reading that the Euro was up AGAIN against the dollar for another high the other day). I will continue to keep an eye on the account so you don’t run out, but if you take Euros out in cash, when you turn them in to be getting US dollars back when coming home, you WILL lose money in the exchange. So try to use your debit card and w/draw cash sparingly. Enuf of this talk. I am envious of your trip, I am grateful for the friends you are lucky to be traveling with. And I am very proud of the way you and the others I’m sure are handling those other meddling kids! Carry on.

  45. Jameson,

I knew you would like Switzerland but I noticed you didn’t mention the women, thanks to Harrison for the update. I’m not really sure if you are getting these but can you take some pictures or at least elaborate more on what you’ve seen (your a great writer) we are all just dying to get a visual! Maybe I’ll just have to go over there myself on a trip. Everything is fine here, Justin is back in school and now at the skate park, mom’s getting ready to watch American Idol, I’m still waiting on my real estate license from the state, you know just the usual. Miss ya buddy, can’t wait to hear about Paris.

    Love,

    Dad

  46. Paulina Murphy

    Hi Jameson,
I miss you so much! I sorry if the studded belt i gave you was the one that stabbed you :/ I am so jealous of all the adventures you have got to go on and i wish i was there with you. By the way i cant believe you let your friends read my card out loud; thats so embarrassing! Have lots of fun on the rest of you trip. I cant wait to see you when you come home!
Dana and other friends say hi.
    Love, Paulina

  47. Harrison…why would I ever kick you out of the house when you are blossoming like the beautiful flower I always knew you were? Give up in my baby? NEVER!!! I can feel in your blogs how happy you are and I’m so happy for you. I’d love to travel with you some day when I’m more than a nagging mother to you. I can dream can’t I? I want to wait on the grandchildren though. That’s a distant dream…keep your raincoat on! Have a great time in Paris. I definitely want to go there one day. Are you taking lots of pictures? I don’t see too many. Tell Ben I don’t want you to end up in a foreign jail for trespassing.

  48. The cleaning crew is here today! 2 hours in the kitchen and counting…..They are scrubbing the walls. moved the refrigerator, and finding all sorts of science experiments. Next, wipe down the desk and tables. Lastly, clean the carpets and floors. The school will look great when you return. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

  49. Harrison, I’ve been following your trip and it sounds like you are having the time of your life. I’m very happy for you. French grand nephews?? I don’t know about that, maybe you should put that on hold? Glad to see you found Cuban food in Switzerland, were the hot waitresses Cubanas? Take care of yourself, I love you.

  50. bassemgeorgy@ymail.com

    Matt
Sorry to hear that you were sick yesterday. Enjoy Paris and France and watch what are you eating. French food is good
Can you buy me a key chain from France? thank you
enjoy the rest of the trip
    We all miss you
    Dad

  51. David – I’m so glad you miss the dogs more than us – arghhh! How come you’ll write a 20 page essay for Cheryl but we can’t get 5 sentences out of your blogs? I’ll forgive all your infractions if you post a picture of you in front of the Eiffel Tower. Cheers and we love you, Dad and the pack

  52. Woof! Master, oh where have you gone? I don’t get many treats and there’s no blankets to sleep under! Maggie still won’t play with me and Mr. Cokes just follows me around sniffing my butt all day long. Please come home soon! Lonesome, Miss Bear

  53. Julia O'Riordan

    Hi all!
We are looking for some pictures! Enjoy your last couple of days because (I hate to be the one to let you know that) then it is back to reality. But, you’ll have great memories to last until your next trip.
    Love, Mom and Dad O’Riordan

  54. Hi Jameson – I’m just imagining all your favorite delectable Parisian desserts you must be trying – eclairs, cream puffs, napoleons, etc. I keep hoping that you’ll go to culinary school and become a great chef! Enjoy your days to the fullest and take care of that injury so it doesn’t get infected. How in the world did that happen? Miss you, love you and please take care of yourself. Mom
P.S. Stefano was voted off American Idol tonight

  55. Hi Sean, so you sharted in your pants, and you slept in a onesy? You know girls aren’t really into that, don’t you? Just sayin’.

  56. Hi all,
Guess what?!? This Sunday on the Amazing Race the team’s are going to be in Liechtenstein! They have to measure the entire length of the country. I love all the virtual traveling I get to do on this show. All the while Sean likes to tell me, I’ve been there! Ahhh, to be so well traveled at just age 18.
Sean, don’t forget…… I love you forever, I like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be. Mom

  57. Hi David:
We are so glad that you are having a great time! I’m sure you are sad to see it end. Well, I guess we will need to start planning the next Arch adventure. Anyway, Simba caught a bird yesterday. She is a real hunter. We will see you soon. Have a safe flight.
    Love, Mom, Dad and Marc

  58. You sure have accomplished a miracle! It’s so nice to feel my son is happy. We’re looking forward to seeing you again and a big hug and kiss. Yes, you read right. What time are you expected? Flight numbers? I love you Harrison.

  59. Hi Fearless Leaders,
I’m checking the itinerary I have and must have the wrong info. Arriving in San Diego at 9:47 pm on United flight #901, but when I checked that flight status it shows it going to San Francisco. Hopefully someone can clarify flight info and times. Thank you for everything you did for our kids on this memorable trip!

  60. Hopefully, next year you can go as a chaperone. Let’s hope this motivated spirit will last forever. You can do anything you set your mind to, Harrison. Our thanks to everyone involved in making this experience possible. Life is good! See you tonight. Xxxxxxxooooooooo.
